Nairobi, Kenya – Hon. Adan Gichu Ali has assumed the chairmanship of Frontier Selam Sacco, a leading financial cooperative. He takes over from Tego Wolasa, who now serves as the vice-chairman, a position previously held by Hon. Adan Gichu Ali.
The positions of Secretary General and Treasurer remain unchanged, with Bashir Dawe Sode and Mohammed Dawe Chute respectively continuing to hold these crucial roles.
During the 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Kiamaiko, two new members were elected to the board: Guye Bullo and Kassim Humbe, replacing Idris Adan and Idris Hirbo Tolke, respectively. Other board members, including Daud Abdi, Abdi Bayana, and Daigo Soso, will continue their roles.
The Sacco’s Shariah Advisory Board, comprising Saleh Anyango Osore, Twahir Mohammed, and Daud Abdi Bonaya, will remain in place.
Additionally, a new member, Yussuf Mamo, joined the Supervisory Committee, replacing Ginna Garro. Yussuf Mamo has been elected as the Chairman of the committee, while the other two members, Adan Boko and Wolde Weisa, will continue their roles.
