Ailia Riwe Woshe, Inspector of Police, is among individuals recognized by President William Ruto in a Special Gazette released Monday.
Riwe was awarded The Order of the Grand Warrior of Kenya (O.G.W).
The Order of the Grand Warrior (O.G.W) is an award presented to individuals in recognition of an outstanding service rendered to the country in different responsibilities and capacities.
The Gazette Notice was issued on 12th December 2022, the day the country marked 59 years since it became a republic in the celebrations marked at the Nyayo National Stadium.
The Gazette Notice also includes other Kenyans honoured in different categories in recognition of distinguished and outstanding services rendered to the nation in various capacities and responsibilities.
Ailia hails from Marsabit town in Kenya.
